I don't like to see secret groups within groups. Lets keep SRA out and open to all participating badge members. If any person questions my validity as a badged member please take it up with the executive. This is a bike group not a boys club. We have a forum in which all members can contribute. Exclusion via social media is unacceptable in my opinion.

Hi Shane. The posts questioning my valid membership have been removed and the secret group is on social media. This forum is undoubtedly the best way for all members to communicate. Socual media private groups is just not inclusive of all registered members.

Ok Shane, I am not having a problem on facebook as such. I have a problem with activity on facebook, where the SRA name is being used to rival this forum, and is then in direct conflict with what this forum is all about. I would prefer to see this forums sanctity be upheld. I would also like all SRA members to be aware, when it comes up for discussion in the future.

Why all the fighting (discusion)? Surely anything relating to SRA belongs to the President . Therefore if aproval is granted and any subsiquent activities are subject to the Presidents aproval if granted...... end of story. If not.... opinions must be sought (prior to carrying out said activities) where the carrying vote should be presented to the President to make an informed decssion. Basically, I'm saying.... put it up at the AGM and see what happens Beerfrog

I don't care what happens on Facebook. I'm not a member of Honda Shadow Owners Australia. End of story New group has been started and clearly states SRA in the title, I feel that if more groups are opened using the SRA banner and name and not administrated by the SRA team it could do more harm than good. I feel all conversation about SRA meeting, rides and business should happen in this very forum and not taken off site where not all members are able to participate or have not been invited. Shadow Owners is not the issue here.

Why the hell would we discuss facebook here .. if they aren't sra then who cares about it .. leave it there I say and we'll all be happier Because a new group has been set up using the SRA banner, so therefore they are portraying it as SRA for badged members only. I am not a member of this group but I have seen the banner being used and the group description. I think this forum does not need confusing with other forms of online media.
