Havnt been online for a while Rear tyre is stuffed its a 150/90/15 anyone else fitted other sizes mines a 2006 aero Hi mate glad ya still about. I just put some on and got 120/90/17 Front & 170/80/15 Rear .Had 160 on before at rear and now i can get around corners a bit better without scraping. Matching White Walls well Dunlop are about it 140/80/17 front ---170/80/15 rear. You would have to source other brands to get bigger tyres . Michelin i believe do them . It does state on your left swing arm at rear, tyres sizes and pressure. Well does on my 09 model. Oh yeah check out the tube mate if any . May need replacing Cheers Ray

Hi, just yesterday I bought a new back tyre for the trip to Bright. It's a Michelin Commander II 170/80 15 for the 2004 VT750. The blurb reckons nearly twice the mileage of other brands. I guess that means not as sticky on the road as other brands, but given that my chicken strips are pretty wide this shouldn't be too much of an issue. Cheers ... Mark

Mark How did the price compare Mark? at $230 for the rear in Dunlop and only doing 12000k's on them it's working out pretty expensive.

Hi Frank Sorry for the late reply, things have been a bit hectic, as usual. The tyre was $269 F&B + $3 disposal fee for the old tyre. I don't think it has quite the same grip as the Dunlop (had a bit rear end wiggle in the wet coming down through the gears a bit quick) but nothing too alarming. The tyre went well on the trip to Bright. Cheers ... Mark
