Went for another south coast ride yesterday. Out to Appin for breakfast then on to Bowral via Wilton Rd. After you cross the weir there's a scary 15kph uphill hairpin turn that grabs your attention. One of my riding partners warned me about it saying he's seen people lose it there. You gotta do it in 1st gear, keep your speed up & try not to swing too far out onto the other side of the road on exit. Anyway I'm here to tell the story so all went well. Had a light beer at Burrawang Pub, a pie at Robertson Pie Shop and then home through Macquarie Pass and Albion Park. That Macquarie Pass is an experience. 8km of some of the tightest bends you will every ride. All in all a great days ride, but it's these rides that's got thinking I need a wind shield.  |

Clarry, we gotta hook up. I was out yesterday looking for somewhere to ride and didn't know you were doing that. Would have loved to come along for the ride.
If you're free next Monday Casper is organising a meet and bleet up north .

Where bouts are you situated beerfrog. Because I'm Sutherland Shire I tend to go down the south coast most times. It takes 1.5hrs just to get to the north side of Sydney from here. None the less, next time I'm planning a ride I'll broadcast it here for any Sydney-siders to join in. Next Monday would be too soon for me, or should I say for my wife to take the news of another all day ride.  |

Yep, Campbelltown area. Usually ride to Picton or the Gong on Mondays.

Mondays looking good maybe heading south so happy to meet ride back with you a ways
