I'm a little concerned that there is an idea around that the Honda Shadow Owners Australia is a different group than SRA. This is wrong. It was started by Kingi, I was first administrator and asked Simon to come in and help me as I was a bit of a quambie on FB. if the administrators of this forum have problems with flow over from FB causing strife on the the forum, contact me, I WILL, sort it out.
I am not a trouble maker, I just like to see things smooth. To those that do not know me, my membership number is 003, I was first Coordinator for Queensland, took on role of VP later on. Along with Ray Doel, help push the ball uphill in getting the first AGM of the drawing board (thanks again Rusty making that dream a reality). I have not been on the forum for a while but after what I've heard about the goings on and the disinformation being spread I intend to be watching a lot closer.
Ray Doel has been requested to be the lead in the organising of the next AGM. I will be helping him and giving guidance when asked for and making suggestions. No AGM Goes of as easily as just riding for a few days camping up getting on the sherbets and having a good time. That is the end result of months of planning. Well done to the previous organisers, suggestions to Ray in Email format would prolly be appreciated.
oh, George could u send out Email addresses, those who indicated u can, to Ray and Spinal, that'll help a lot.

Timely advice Dawg and lets hope the next AGM will be the 2nd best ever (cos you know NSW AGM's are always better  ). But plan for a "Cockroach Invasion"  |

Sorry for the hidden Ident on the thread, I have been having problem logging in of late. Ive been told you cant mention stopping for a beer or calling into pub for counterlunch because you may become liable for injuries caused by crashes after the event because organisers have encouraged riders to drink by having a meeting place a licensed premises. WTF  |

Perhaps it would be prudent establish the the facts and the circumstances surrounding this topic of discussion before making ill informed comments a year later. Hi Steve, welcome back buddy... This was an issue and it was talked about at Dubbo AGM, it was fairly simple, we don't want to encourage or be seen to be a bunch of drunks lol (notice I didn't name any names for that drunk part lol) anyway let sleepy dogs lye on this one mate.. I for one want the forum to stay on bike talk and bike everything not another thread that no one ever agrees on. It is old news.... |

Just a few things but, as a group we have not yet discussed who is being involved in the running of the AGM until we meet at Boreen point on the 13th..... Hi Steve and welcome back , Its been a long long time since you have been the state co , so i must agree with MRC. And can you tell us who has requested Ray Doel to lead in the organising of the next AGM ? Also should we be meeting to discus SRA business out side of a SRA members meeting ?

They're selling Mythos here at the moment on special for $12 a six pack. It's not bad. Usually I stick to James Boags or Crownies. |

It mus5 be very interesting to be living looking over your shoulder all the time, im not used to it. its about time people on the forum get back to what it was and should be and thats a place to have few laughs pass on some information and get on with riding. To be attacked like I have been by the President and U MRC is a bit disturbing but Ill get over it hope u guys can too. |
