Recently purchased a leather vest,could someone please tell me which is the best way to fix patches to it.Ironing them doesnt seem to work,maybe stitching is the only way.thanks Dave

Go see your local shoe repairer. We all have sewing machines capable to do this

I work with leather every day and would never use superglue on anything. It's a rigid glue designed for solid flat surfaces which makes the leather dry and brittle. I'll sew on every time.

I bought a leather needle and strong thread and sewed them with my machine. Dont care about how the lining looks just taped it where i wanted the patcges then sew. Easy. Trust me I am no sewer but turned out fine
