So after a day like today it was a drag my bottom jaw off the floor get the LUMP outta my throat to chat.... ima surprised sometimes gobsmacked most times but this 1 was BOTH... I never in my life would have thought I comment posted would bring the gift that it brings... & yea this post is taking a bit to txt.. sorta speechless. ... ok so ima lil bit of a nut when it comes to OUR ANZACS not just because my son services but BECAUSE its was them who signed up & defended, fought & died we have the weee freedoms we share today. Keep reading ppl.... so its 100yrs that WW1 started & 99 before Anzac was born... & the biscuit tins came out with 10 tins... 8 Aussie 1 Kiwi.. 1 rare Victoria Cross with the help of a mate we collected all 9 tins before Anzac day... it cost me a few cookies but I can live with that. So I posted about the Kiwi 1 hoping maybe a Kiwi on my list would have a go. but this arvo I spotted a parcel & before I opened it saw Kiwi stamps... no 1 got a pic but they should have. . So 3rd guess I was on the $$$ (gobsmack moment) the BIGGEST THANKS & YOU deserve so much more praise than I can spell. Russ Strobel you just amaze me today... you partner in crime never hinted... Just shows that SRA is more than just MOTORCYCLES... SRA is more like the spirit we celebrate every year on the 25-4... Thanks a million thanks.. words do fail me now but will always see this tin & feel a warmhearted feeling.... CHEERS Russ aka Flounder... Cas I love ya mate but I can never work out what you're talking about on the forum.
So far I worked out:
your son is in the services,
russ organised something to be delivered to you from NZ.
you think we're all top blokes (especially Russ)
Oh and you like cookies.
Anyone got a casper translater? He seems really excited and I am keen to put all the pieces together and share the moment.
