Hi to our fellow Shadow Riders,
My name is Tracey aka Wendy Witch. I am your NSW Shadow Riders Australia Co-coordinator.
As you are well aware NSW is a huge area to coordinate and after consultation with our active members we have developed as plan to get a little more out & about.
NSW has been divided into 7 districts with each area having its own ride calendar. Each area needs a lead member to coordinate your areas events.
Each areas calendar could have a monthly local meet and greet and a monthly ride.
It is up to the members in each area to work together to facilitate this.
Meet and Greets are held the 1st Sunday of the month, and the Group ride on the 4th Sunday of the month.
This allows for those members who work a fortnightly roster to participate at least monthly.
We are also keen to develop friendships across each district border and encourage meet & greets to be at halfway points.
It is our aim to do at least one whole NSW weekend get together and then as a state travel together to Victotua for our AGoM 2017.
Please if you haven't already; update your contact info, check out your district thread and download the ride calendar, email your ride suggestions to be added to the calendar.
Regards Tracey Smyth

I would like to remind NSW members new and old the reason we have come together as SRA members.
Yes.... we either own or have owned a Honda Shadow or at least riden a bike.
Yes.... we all love to ride.
Yes.... this is a family friendly GROUP.
Yes... safety of our riders is paramount.
Yes... RESPECT is expected toward each other and is expected at all times.
Yes... this is not a dating Group and all members should feel safe to communicate online as an SRA member, with other members, without fear of being harassed. Preditory behavior is never acceptable.
Yes... All member privacy should be respected at all times.
Yes.... all members are responsible to keep check of their own actions, behavior and how they represent SRA in the public and private. Also online.

We tend to meet rather than ride. We use areas as commonly known. After emailing NSW members the response was somewhat underwhelming, however we are not deterred. We are seeking Riders Reps (title not yet decided at this stage) to be a local contact in you own region. These reps will the form a NSW team for larger NSW and National events. Most active NSW members are in the NSW Facebook group. Rennie there is a list in the files of active members and their region. Sadly it's not to many.

i agree Ray, it's hard to keep a Forum active if a state co is going to send new members to a closed group Facebook page, SRA was formed here not Facebook. how are other state members meant to communicate and help if the forum is not being used for what it was set up for. i know it was decided that all state's are to run SRA in their state as they see fit, but i didn't think that meant abandoning the SRA Forum where it all began. my thoughts,in the interest of keeping SRA forum active.
cheers,
spinal
