(Note to self - do NOT piss off Deanne)
Hi Deanne, welcome to the forum - very, very nice looking ride. Completely agree with the sentiments in the clipping but I don't do Facebook, however I have been known to dismount the Shadow at the stop lights, tap on a window and discuss relevant road rules (particularly with young females who have NFI what the indicator stalk on the the steering column is used for - selecting that particular demographic tends to lead to minimal confrontation and in summer the view is often rather nice).
Cheers ... Mark

Same for truck drivers. A new appreciation after experience. Maybe everyone should experience time on two wheels, four and multiple with a big rig! It really gets my goat when I see people on mobiles. we have no chance against their stupidity. Fingers crossed we don't get taken out by them. Nice saddle bags on your ride Deanne! I need to get me some now.

I do have some sympathy for the big rig drivers. This time last year on the Farriders Border Village run, heading up Pt Wakefield Rd I got caught in a line up behind a wind farm transport. I took the left lane and rode up to the very front and pulled in, in front of a B Double who promptly hit the horn and I shot back into the left lane and pulled in behind him. On reflection, I was a dickhead because the guy couldn't see me over the engine of his rig and his brakes would struggle compared to mine if we had to have a quick stop. I have much respect for the truckies, theirs is not an easy job and they deal with ignorant idiots every bloody day.

The problem with the big rigs these days is that you have all the cowboys. Years ago it was never like this. I know things change. I'm a retired truckie's daughter.
Everyone is caught up in their own little world and they don't give a flying frig what's going on around them.
People need to get on 2 wheels to become better drivers.. IT's too damn easy to get a drivers' licence and keep it these days.
Saddle bags came from Motorcycle Accessories supermaket in Blakie road Penrith.

Saddle bags came from Motorcycle Accessories supermaket in Blakie road Penrith. The same ones were supplied for me by MotoAdelaide (used to be Honda world) when they fixed the bike after I dropped it it decided to part company with us (Brenda was on the back) BTW Deanne I tooo have the VT400 PS i saw a Bouly the other day with the same bags but they were reversed, they sloped towards the front, gave more room for the blinkers and the front looked like leg rests for the pillion
