Would any of you from Adelaide like to make a little boy super happy on his birthday?
Thanks to Robert Branson, "trucker" on the forums, Bailey (his grandson) has been obsessed with motorbikes since before he was born. We had planned an amazing birthday party for him but have now been told that nobody is coming at all and we may have to cancel.
I am an absolute mess but thought that their may be some of you that could help me out. Sadly Rob can't make it all the way from Melbourne to be here on his own bike either.
His birthday is on Sunday 22nd March and we are now changing our plans to organise I bbq lunch so we can still celebrate. Let me know if you would like to come down and enjoy lunch and a cold drinks.
You can contact me by text on 0403511852 or via "trucker"
Thankyou in advance

Hi Folks. If anyone in the Adelaide area would like to drop in and say Hi and Happy Birthday to little Bailey, it would truly make his birthday special.

I'm sorry but cannot make it as we are going to be busy at the O'Sullivans beach Lonsdale football club family day supporting our Grandson and son-in-law with a big fundraiser for the club. I'll send Emma an invitation to come there for lunch and I'll have the bike there if she wants

Many thanks to you Frank, Bailey is a born biker and would love to be around bikes on his Birthday. I don't think it would worry him whether it was at his home or anywhere else. He is coming to Melbourne for a holiday and will be seeing a few bikes while he is here. Unfortunately I cannot be in Adelaide for his Birthday due to commitments with his Great Grandmother. P.S. that is him in my profile pic.

Thanks George, we appreciate your help!
Thanks for getting in touch Frank, we will try to make it if possible as I mentioned but depends what we end up getting organised as we are in Paralowie!
I know how much dad wishes he could have been here but he is also working on something the following week in Melbourne as we will be there on holidays and he knows just how hurt I am over this.
I really appreciate all your help and I know dad does too

Only too glad to help out. Looks like Baily and family will make it to the family fun day and will get to sit on the bike on his birthday.
I have a granddaughter who is bike mad and has had one since she was 5, she has been on many rides with her "Rampa" unfortunately now she is 15 and too cool to ride with an oldie, couple of years and she'll be out of it I'm sure

Once again Frank, may I say a very big thank you. It is unfortunate that I can not be in two places at the same time, as I would love to be able to make his day, and to see his face when he sits on your bike, I can just imagine him as overjoyed as he was at our Christmas barbie, where he ran from bike to bike as they arrived, grinning from ear to ear. Thank you again

Not a problem, I'm sure your daughter will take a photo as he sits on my bike, not like being there I know, but it'll only be a few days when he can sit on yours.
Anyone in SA looking in here, you are welcome to the family day and maybe we can give him more than one bike to sit on, I'll see if I can round up a couple of bikes to be there
Trucker, our son was motorbike mad from a very early age, I didn't even have one back then and he called the monomikes, when he saw one on the road he got so excited that the "mike" only came after monomonomonomonomonomonomono mike with a grin the same as your gandson's so it brings back memories, Adam is now 35

Many thanks to all involved, my gratitude does not seem enough for the time and trouble that you are going to, but, my gratitude, respect and thanks are yours.

Would be happy to involve, but unless I am mistaken is the same day as the Black Dog 1 Dayer? yes it is, we wanted to go on the ride but family comes first and then this little fella needs a bike for the day, so maybe next year. I'll suggest to Emma that after the fun day they may want to take a drive down to Goolwa (about 45 minutes) where the Black Dog ride will finish. There will be lots and lots and lots lots and lots and lots lots and lots and lots lots and lots and lots of bikes there for Baily to play with

Just found out B.A.C.A are going to be in attendance at the fun day, so Baily will have a few bikes to look at.
