Kingy's ride has prompted me to ask:
What is the longest ride you have done?
and/or
What was the longest days riding you have done?
My longest is Brisbane - Darwin - Brisbane over 10 days with the longest day Barcaldine to Brisbane (1400 kms). Once you get the smell of home...........

Cant beat that mate . Only been from Gympie -Ipswich _toowoomba and home again in the day would be the longest ,but then haven;t ridden for 30 odd yrs before that. Will endeavor to try and work up to your milage though mate. It's the friends you make on the journey that makes the ride even richer. Think Moe may beat you though. Cheers Ray

When I had the GN250 I managed 650kl in one day. I worked out that 7 hours x 7000 r.p.m the poor little motor did aprox 2.9 million strokes that day. I definately needed a bigger seat to sit on. Doing the S.M.A.R.T. ride on the Gold Coast, there was one rider who rode around Australia on his bike in 11 days.....nuts
