Hi all,
I'm looking for some saddle bags for my bike and have read two posts by "Kevin" (Panniers/Saddlebags for VT400) and (Bolts through chrome side rail on fender of VT400) dated back in 2014 re the issues/questions he had.....
So any advice from one of you much more "experienced" Shadow lovers would be very appreciative.
I've measured from the seat to the indicator and by my calculations I'm looking for bags no wider than 14" (35cm) or longer than 9-10" (23-25cm)
SOOOOOOO I've looked at many bags and am now narrowing it down to the ones below:
www.jpcycles.com/product/831-250/zip-off-throw-over-motorcycle-saddlebags
www.motorcycle-superstore.com/13847/i/willie-and-max-black-magic-saddlebags
Advice? Issues? better options???
Thanks Mel

Really it's a personal choice i prefer the first one but make sure you use supports and attach the so they don't drop I hadn't done that with mine and they got scorched on the exhaust

As Frank has said, it comes down to a personal choice, but definitely use supports as they will also stop any rubbing on the paint work.
