See you all there. There actually is a 7-11 service station in Bay St about 500 m north of the bakery. If you need to fill up please do so before the departure time. Looking forward to a great day of riding.

I suppose I could meet you all at the Greendale pub, Lunch suggestions> Good spot to park bikes is on the main roundabout in main street, all bikers park there. Plenty of food shops near by I favour the bakery 1/2 way along the street, east side but depend what you want to eat

It was a great day of riding today. When I left home it was cold and grey and thick with fog. But by the time I got to Port Melbourne some 45 minutes later, the fog had lifted to a cloud less blue sky with glorious sunshine, but it was still cold. I met up with Rob (Trucker), Bob, Shane, Saddo, Macca and Phil (Bogga). After a nice hot coffee we were on our bikes and heading to the renowned spa township of Daylesford. We stopped to pay a visit to Saddo's daughter and son in law who live in Greendale. There we also caught up with Ian and his friends who came in a Virago with sidecar. Great to meet you guys. From there we rode through the Blackwood forest on some nice bendy, twisty roads and then rode into the very busy township of Daylesford. . Some of us went to a hotel for a nice lunch whilst others meandered about town. After lunch we all rode off together, with riders peeling away to head for their side of town toward home. A great day of riding and it is always great to catch up with our SRA friends. Thank you to Shane for organizing the ride and thank you to the weather gods for a sunny, cloudless day. Although it was cold, it was bearable but thankfully dry!

I'll tell you what I wore today. A T shirt to keep the torso warm. A long sleeve T shirt to keep the torso and arms warm. A long sleeve thermal jumper to keep all the top warm, a long sleeve SRA hoddie top, a leather jacket and leather vest and a neck warmer in case none of the others worked. That was the top!! Bottom. Long cotton work socks, thermal socks and lined leather long boots. Winter double lined kevlar jeans and base camp hikers thermals. Hands, thermal finger gloves, thinsulate lined leather gauntlet gloves. Let me tell you. I did not feel one bit of cold, however I did feel like the michelan man!! LOL all the way home.
