As we haven't done a ride for a while, I was thinking of a ride via Kilcoy (Yowie Park Coffee break) Somerset Dam, over Mt Glorious for lunch at the Elm Haus, then via Samford, Winn road around Lake Samsonvale and finish the ride at Petrie. Should be around 200kms. Any takers Leaving BP Northbound at 09:00 with a stop in Kilcoy and lunch at Elm Haus, Mt Glorious Yowie Park Elm Haus goo.gl/maps/dF7nKNqpiSxRiders attending so far.Rodaco Spinal Colin Kandyman Max & Carol Justin & Minister for war and Finance

What a great day for a ride. Some of the best weather we've had for a while. It was good to see Jason and Jules at the BP to see us off. Thanks to all who participated in the ride, sadly Ken and his mate had to miss out as his mates bike refused to start after he refuelled (Not a Honda) so Ken helped his mate organise to get the bike to a workshop and then got home ok. Nice to meet Justin and Shona on the ride today. First stop was Kilcoy at Yowie Park for coffee but I hadn't reckoned on the Kilcoy markets being on, so parking space was a bit hard to find. Next was around Somerset Dam and onwards to Mt Glorious. Lots of bikes out today, fantastic weather to be out on the bike. We all had a chance to have a good catchup over Lunch at the Elm Haus Mt Glorious where eventually we said our goodbyes, as once down the mountain a few of us were heading in different directions. Thanks to all who were able to support the ride as it was only short notice. Not everyone can always make it due to circumstances etc, but what I like is when we do get together we can all pick up from when we saw each other last. Some photo's from the day, more to be added later.

Some pics from Mt Glorious. Colin getting his bike attended to by Justin, rest of us happy to look on. Signed motorcycle parking out the front of the café.

What an incredible day, was great to meet everyone and have lunch at an unexpected location, Could not have asked for a better day and looking forward to the next outing i am available to join you, Minister of war and finance (aka Shona) loved the day out also, prior to buying my winged steed she was a bit worried about being behind me as my previous bikes include a Honda Dominator nx650 and a Husquavana TE 410 so both are dirt demonds, i have brought her confidence back to enjoying the open roads again. Top day thanks Justin, KenOathHeCan, DILLIGAF
