Just doing the 25,000 on the shadow, managed to get the back cover off by cutting the harness ties,a quarter drive socket set is a necessity! The flywheel marks are not named, just a line,so I put a bar down the pot to find TDC,then rattled the rockers to make sure I had the correct one.Don't have the 1/8 sq socket for the screw,so had to use a mini shifter, honda could have made one of the slots in the handle of their 8mm spanner to fit,it almost does. Mark the reed valves in the covers, they fit both ways. I put sponge in the plug holes, lets air in,not screws. It's a lot easier than the manual's way!! Hope this helps someone, cheers Bill update:- The slots in the M8 just needed deburring, perfect fit, used a torch, and found the marks,so rechecked, but they were good, all went back together a lot easier than stripping, next time wont take as long. now to a lot of wiring, spots, horns, move all the indicators......

--------------------------Latest tip by Moe----------------------- I was out and about with moe this arvo and we were talking about cost of oil filters for our bikes, ( actually i was windging ;D ).& moe remembered a place in the wangara industrial area. Any way here is a pic, but most importantly the price ---> $6-50 verses the Honda item of $30-00 louie. PS:- even though it says suitable for mazda and subaro. It is also suitable for honda VT750... I love it when a plan comes together... hehehhe
