New to the shadow club I ride a 1999 vt600 and recently changed the oil in the beast The Honda dealership informed me the best oil I could use is the fully synthetic , I have also been informed by other sources that the oil isn't the best for clutch but great for the motor Does anyone know if it Will damage the clutch plates ?

Going from mineral to synthetic without flushing the engine first is not a good thing, Most bikes pre 2009 dont get any advantage from it,but the dealer makes more money,
