Been using that exact same heel shifter for 3 years now. I love it and would not go back to the toe hook method.

Agree Clarry it is a vast improvement on the toe hook method especially with the height of the boot at the toe. Will get better at using it. On 1st ride , today , kept going back to toe hook.

Mounting Heel Shifter.
1. Removed bolt from gear lever pivot and then slide gear lever off shaft. 2. Mounted Heel Shifter and tighten allen bolt ( but still able to move Heel Shifter ) , reassemble gear lever on bike. 3. Sat on bike and found the best position for Heel Shifter. Note : Wear your usual riding boots. Heel height. Or go for a ride to find best position that suits you. 4. Dot punched Heel Shifter and shaft of gear lever, in line. 5. Disassembled , removing bolt from gear lever pivot 1st. , cleaned up mounting surfaces with isopropyl wipe. 6. Applied Loctite to mounting surfaces , mounted heel shifter , lined up dot punch marks , then tightened allen bolt firmly. 7. Mount gear lever / Heel Shifter on bike. 8. ENJOY.
It has taken longer to type this than to do the job !
