Some of our Shadow riders and friends have signed up through proboards to use the SRA forum without realising they can (and should) register with SRA.
Registering with SRA is free. Those who haven't done so, go the SRA website and on the home page there is a registration area. Please fill in all the details. Once you register, I process the registration then send you information about SRA and membership. You can only become a member of SRA by purchasing a membership badge, which is $15.00. The benefits of registering is that you get a registration number and you are entered into a national register which helps us maintain statistics about Shadow riders and friends. You are also placed on the SRA email list and receive important information about SRA matters. I encourage anyone who has registered to use the forum, but not registered with SRA to do so.
Remember registration is FREE.

When you register from the SRA website home page, the registration goes to a Homestead support system and then directly to me which I then process and I have record of that registration and put it in the National Register.
Some people have been going direct into the forum and registering in the forum only,(that registration is on the top right hand corner next to the login) They can then post things on the forum and usually I have no record of who they are. When people register just in the forum, it is not recorded anywhere and I do not receive any notification of that registration and therefor they are not registered with SRA. Some have indicated they did not know there was a registration process on the homepage which would then formally register them with SRA
I hope that makes sense.

Yep got that. Only thinking out loud here George but some people may be finding it on google and most of those are the Proboards site only and not the actual homepage itself. Unless it says the actual home site link they miss that. I always check out the home site itself most days to see iff there is any changes but I reckon most people on here would open up the forum page here and not even look at the home side page. Or for that matter know it exists. . A pity really. Best thing I ever did nearly 4 years ago was read Rusty, s article in ARR magazine and found this site. On ya Rusty, thanks mate and go SRA Cheers Ray

Plan to go on a few club rides & meet a few of the peeps before I commit. Nothin to commit to mate . Only the badge costs . You can ride when and where you want . Doesnt have to be just our rides . Not like some othere that say say ride with us or else . Doesnt have to be a Shadow .It,s cool TEX they,ll love ya . In a friendly way of course. . And only do it iff you want no pressure .
