Hey guys, just thought I'd share a warning for those who are trying to sell.
There's prob a million fake buyers out there, but this one seems recent.
I received a txt (+61 428 465 117) inquiring about the bike and asking for an email to be sent to cambelluck@gmail.com. I shot off a txt almost straight away so didn't bother about the email.
Then just got another txt from the same number pretending to be a different person asking for an email to mitchellmorrison@hotmail.com.au. This was a bit weird and when I called the number it said it was out of service or turned off. I emailed both emails, but mitchell morrison's didn't go through.
I googled the name and first hit was on scamwarners.com. Searching cambel luck produced a string of hits on the same website. Apparently he makes up some story that he's on duty and can't take calls, but lives in NT and very happy with the vehicle. He sends you a fake paypal receipt saying the money's gone through and a little bit more to pay for pickup when they come. Then it's bye bye motorbike/car and F U i got scammed.
I don't know what I should do, I called the cops but they weren't interested. But was told to call scam watch which have closed for the weekend.
I can see why some people won't deal with interstate buyers.
Do you guys think I should string this person along for a laugh?

Definitely cause if they show up to get the bike then you can have them arrested

Just be carefull you dont give them what they want in reference to any personal details . Most likely that is their real aim . Cheers Ray

And definitely do not give them your address where the bike is. Most likely the things they get are stripped down to parts and shipped overseas in container loads.
