Hi all, my name is Ian from Tassie and just recently purchased a Shadow vt750 2008 model and love it. The bike is awsome for our windy roads in Tassie and I have done many k's just for the hell of it. Look foreward to meeting some fellow shadow riders in the future.

Hi Ian, welcome Nice bike .. love the dark flames. What have you got your bag attached to .. I have the same bags but cant work out what you could have attached them too under the seat like that. I put mine on a solo backrack and just attach them to the rails. Just curious in case I ever want to put the back seat back on.

Hi Ian and welcome. There are two registration processes with SRA and it would appear you have only registered to use the forum. If you go the SRA website home page, you can register with SRA. I process all registrations and when I receive yours I will send you some correspondence about SRA, membership, AGM etc.

So if someone finds just the forum then they have no way to get easily to the website. Ian the website is WWW.shadowbikers.net

Hey gang thanks for the welcome, I have now registered George and would like a membership badge as well so if you can organise this would be great. ANASTASIA I had just finished fitting the bag on the bike and it was not easy but I managed to attach it to the pack rack side mounts as there is nothing under the seat to mount this type of pack to. I had an old gear sack bag from an old Honda Boldor 900 but it doesnt fit very well on the new rack so my son bought me the new bag but didnt realise how difficult it would be to fit. I dont know how it will fit if I have a passenger on board. I will try and catch up with Pete and see what we can get up to

Hey Ian, like i said I put mine on a solo riders back rack so it's a bit longer than the sissy bar type one but I wonder if you can do the same thing that I do which is just attach the straps to the bar. i can see where you've attached it now that you've said .. they really aren't made for our types of bike i think as there's nothing under that pillion seat, but I love the bags .. I have the same one as yours plus the smaller one that I piggy backed .. took me on a week long trip to Broken Hill earlier this year and even fitted in some shopping I did while I was there

Traversing 2. I have mailed you some information about SRA. To buy a membership badge or any other SRA merchandise you will need to go the the SRA website and go to the stores area. Follow the process. Rusty handles all merchandise sales and payment can be made by bank deposit or paypal. There is information in the letter I sent you about that also.
