Hi All.
This looks like a very well organized Forum.
I'm new to the Cruser seen.
I have just got myself a 2006 VT750c4. Aero (I think), Shaft drive. Its only done 18000km.
It has two in to one standard exhaust at the moment.
I have just ordered some Cobra street rod slash down pipes for my bike.
Will These bolt up easy? andI will i need to rejet my bike after I have put these on.
Any help and advice about the bike would be great.
Thanks.
Dazza.

Welcome to the forum Dazza. Must be a good name that we have a couple. Am on me pH at the moment mate so can't do some links for you. There has been a lot of discussion on this matter and is in the forum pages. However a quick answer is yes you well may have to rejet to a different stage jet Iff your doing this you may as well put a K&N filter on the air cleaner to get everything to sinck up. Save having to do later. As Shane said were ya from mate. Also a Pic of the bike or two would be great. Love pics. Cheers Ray

But I thought I would rub it past you guys. They seam to be a very reliable bike. It rides very nice, Clunks in to second gear, but I think thats normal. This is my bike. I think i have lowered the quallity to crap..lol It Was a pig when i got it. I have spent the past two weeks pollishing everything up again. Thanks heaps

Lovely ride mate ,sure you,ll love it . On me puter now . Mate have a gander here . shadowaero750.com/files/rejet.pdf shadowaero750.com/mods.aspxNote however this is US stats .A slightly higher jet may be required here . For great expert and sales contact Simon at BadpennyCustoms.com.au .He is a member from WA and knows his shit ,well. You can use the search Button at the top of the forum page and type in whatever you may require . A lot of conversation will come up ,here is an example hondashadowriders.proboards.com/search/results?display_as=0&page=3&what_at_least_one=Carby%2Crejet%2B%2Cpipes%2B&who_only_made_by=0 Usually pipes, rejet, air cleaner and dyno is the way to go to get things sweet but sometimes the bike is just happy with the new pipes . Depends on a lot of things . In the end it adds up to is it all worth it for maybe 10 or more hp maybe or more . Or jus tget a bigger bike . But the 750,s mate are awesome. Used to two up the missus and had no trouble . That 4 deg mod you may see in the 2nd link works well . Did it on mine . Better pulling . Just found this in teh search ,a quote from Simon ;"Emissions is the biggie. Most bike will give you a few ponies (and torque) by just changing the air intake & exhaust. Tuning it with the correct jets or using a fuel manager (such as a Power Commander) on FI bikes will get you a few more, better fuel consumption and smoother acceleration. Eg. VTX1800C stock is 86hp at the rear wheel. Changing out the air intake for a Thunder mfg Tornado, exhaust for V&H Bigshots and adding a Power Commander 3 will result in about 110-115hp at the rear wheel depending upon how good the fuel map is in the PC3. VT750 may give 5-10hp. When you consider that the stock hp on a vt750 is 38hp at the rear wheel a conservative 5hp increase is still a 13% increase in power." Another little thing worth too look at www.ebay.com/bhp/cobra-fi2000-powerpro Ok found what i was looking for to start with from Simon,s posts hondashadowriders.proboards.com/search/results?display_as=0&page=2&what_at_least_one=rejetting+pipes&who_at_least_one=30&who_only_made_by=0Hope this helps . Hi Dazza. welcome, I put Vance & Hinze on mine and it back fired like a fat pig on baked beans. Had it re-jetted and dyno tuned (optional) got an extra 4 kw out of it and still average between 260 - 280klm. to the tank. Oh! and sounds horn. Enjoy.
