First attempt at uploading a pic. Thought it would have appeared larger.

Hi Shadow riders. This forum looks fantastic and I look forward to participating. My rides are few and far between as I am ''disadvantaged'' in living on an island. However I am making up for that in a few weeks as I am riding to WA scheduled to start end of next month (via Cobar, Broken Hill). Eeek! I ride a 2006 750C. So I will be perusing this site for hints and tips. Cheers everyone. Hey Azure and Welcome thats fantastic you are riding over to WA next month hope all goes well for you and im sure you will enjoy im sure you will have no problums with your 2006 Shadow very nice bike thanks for the Pic hope to catch up soon and Enjoy

I worry about a million things breaking or failing on my bike. Blokes seem to have no problems sorting out bike mechanical probs and I wish I was like that. I have new tyres, had a service, fluids all replaced, RACQ top cover insurance. Don't know what else I can do. I will be glad to be started, still quite hot out west tho. Cheers

Had I joined this group a bit earlier I may have joined you all for the AGM. Cheers

There are a couple of truck stops between Cobar and BH Azure .. I would suggest that even if you dont think you have to fill up .. fill up Willcania is a bit scary but we stopped for fuel there no problems. There's always next year for the AGM

Anna, I will be using the truck/fuel stops, no worries. 14 litre tank seems small now. I want a leisurely trip so will be going easy on the throttle. Thanks.
