Hi Shadow riders. This forum looks fantastic and I look forward to participating. My rides are few and far between as I am ''disadvantaged'' in living on an island. However I am making up for that in a few weeks as I am riding to WA scheduled to start end of next month (via Cobar, Broken Hill). Eeek! I ride a 2006 750C. So I will be perusing this site for hints and tips. Cheers everyone.

Hi Beerfrog, Well I may post some upon my return in a few months. You may be able to help me as I notice you ride a 750C. I want to purchase a larger tank top bag than I have at present. The Shadow badge is a bit of a prob when it comes to the magnetic sides of the tank bag, as from one I tried recently on my tank, it wasn't a snug fit. Any suggestions, brands or links? Perhaps I should start a new post?

Hi Azure Welcome to the group. You might want to check out pretty well any posts done by Louie the Fly lately, he's our roaming Shadow Rider at the moment and has come to tour round the Eastern States for a while from WA. I just spotted your post about the tank bag but will answer here what I have cause I'm a lazy sod I got a motocentric a few months ago from these guys www.tomcatdistribution.com.au/motocentric-luggage-covers-rainwear and they were great, even replaced a whole bag for me free postage when i got the wrong one for my bike. I have the same size tank as you and the bag I got is ... www.tomcatdistribution.com.au/motocentric-weekender-gps-tank-bag/ It's not huge but fits all my goodies in it that I need to carry handy with me including an SLR camera that can take up a lot of space at times, without the camera in it I normally have heaps of room to spare in it. The magnets fit on my tank perfectly, I think the first bag I got was this one ... www.tomcatdistribution.com.au/motocentric-mototrek-19-tank-bag/ which didn't fit because of the magnets at the front of the bag on the little flap, because some of your tank is taken up with the speedo ect. Happy shopping
