Hi Kevin, Welcome. My wife has 400 and Ive ridden it many times, not as quick off the mark as my 750 but scoots along real well with out any modifications and have cruised along at 110 easily, just be carefull when u overtake though give yourself plenty room. There are 600 shadows out there but they are getting a bit longin the tooth now dont see them often My daughter in law has a 400 as well and we spent an entire day after I researched all the LAMs options for her and she kept coming back to 400 for comfort, riding position, ease of manouvering etc.
You will not be disappointed if you go along that road.
happy riding

Hey, whether it's a 250, 400 750 or an 1800 it beats driving a car on a winding road on a beautiful day. On another note: I've been admiring a bike I see (on the way to work and back) every few days and a couple of weeks ago I pulled along side him at a set of lights, it was a 1300 and much more powerful than mine. I've done the usual "Nice bike mate" and he nodded and smiled then blew me off at the green and must have clocked the tacho by the sound of it. My thoughts? What a tosser, if I wanted to race I would get an R1, we have cruisers because we love to ride. Beerfrog
