The VTX1800C is an awesome bike that has plenty of grunt. I've had mine for 4 years now and she still brings a smile to my face. Once you wack some V&H bigshots on it along with a Thunder Mfg air intake & Power Commander you will not believe just how quick these bikes are (getting up to the speed limit).

i just watched a YOUTUBE VID of the 1800 and this bloke is popping wheelies down the dragstrip.... MMMMMM i think i will save some PENNYS

yeh mate the bloke at the bike shop couldnt do me a good deal on the 1800 and trade in on my bike so i will wait and save some more dosh to make the difference up.. MEH atleast i still own 2 wheels atlot more then some ppl can say

what price are they asking for the 1800? how many KMs? You can buy them second hand a lot cheaper with about 10-20,000km in which case they are basically just run in.

this 1800 was $13,400 and only had 11,223ks on it... it was all black with cobra pipes slash cuts, sissy bar and sattlebags

That is a pretty good price. Don't worry about the weight, you'll get used to it.
