My last set of Dunlop 404s lasted about 10,000, having read a few old posts on the subject I think Bridgestone's might be a longer lasting tyre, Ray, in Qld - how goes your set of Bridgestone you fitted last May? Does anyone have a good long lasting tyre experience on a VT750?

My early Bridgestone's didn't last all that long, but since fitting the newer Bridgestone Exedra, I have more than doubled the kilometres. Very pleased with them. Rodaco

Have done well out of Bridgstone . Around 20000 ks at least or better . Exedra done well. Dunlops never again though good grip . Trying the Perelli ROUTE 66 at present .Tend to somtimes slide but then grip well .Milage so far is okay . Depends a lot on the road conditions. Up here dunlop as i said not good but maybe better in cooler climates but not by the earlier comment .

My Dunlops lasted 7,000 front & 11,000k's rear. I have replaced them with the Bridgestones so we will see how they go, I would think they would have to do better than the Dunlops.

22000 out of my front OEM Bridgy. 15000 on rear before i screwed it .Still a good 5 left on it. Had to replace. Was under tyre insurance so the tyre was free . Thats when they put a Dunnie on the back .11000 it wore out . Never again .do grip well though

Thanks everyone, I bought the Exedras and I'm really happy with how they handle, I've had new Dunlop's before but my bike has never gripped the road the way it does on these tyres. I look forward to seeing how long they last.

Had a great run out of my original Bridgestone Exedra's, front got 53000 km's, had to replace rear due to puncture at about 45000, but still had useable tread. This is on a 2010 vt400, so not sure how they go on the 750.

The rear tyre on my bike only gets about 4000k's for some reason ?

4000ks is woeful - unless you're pushing corners and roundabouts to absolute limits. Trucker's 400vt must be slow and steady all the way - commendable mileage though... Shane, you're not leaning on the back brake pedal too much too often are you?

The rear tyre on my bike only gets about 4000k's for some reason ? Burn-outs at the lights? Not showing off of course, just warming up the tyre for better traction. Purely for safety reasons.
