Hey everyone,
I recently got my licence and found myself a 2012 VT400C.
I have spent a fair bit of time looking around these forums for info and advice on parts for my bike. I figured it was about time I joined.
Here is a pic when i first got it.
Here is some pics after i changed up the grips and put on lindby bars.

Cheers guys, appreciate the welcome.
They are playing a bit of havoc with the forward controls. Tightened the break to allow room but I was riding a bit yesterday and was getting my boot jammed when changing gears. Not ideal when it was only my second time out haha.
Not sure Im quite ready for an interstate run yet but ill definitely look in to yet. Sounds like a great time.

I didn't extend anything, as far as i am aware they are stock. Maybe they aren't as forward as yours as they slotted in almost perfectly. As I mentioned, I just tightened the rear brake to stop it knocking on the bars.

Thanks for the welcome mate. I am based in the Hills Shire, NSW. I quite like the style of the bike more or less how it is. The only change i'd like to make at the moment is to make it a bit louder. I was looking at the Vance and Hines Cruzer pipes but I am open to all suggestions if you have any. I'm also a big guy, if anyone can point me in the direction of a decent big mens apparel supplier it would be great. I have been speaking to Rhino Leather in Rydalmere and Finns in Gosford.

Great pipes those . Good sound . You Will need 02 sensor elimenators on most aftermarket pipes seeing they don't usually have binge welded on them for the 02 sensors to fit in . Can have them welded in by a good Tradie before fitting though. With my stock pipes I had them done professionally for about 250 bucks and the rumble is not bad . 95 decibels. Keeps the look of the bike. Some just drill holes or take out the existing baffles but I like a bit of back pressure there .

Cooee and welcome. Love the Hills. Ride through often. I am in Parramatta and always up for a ride if I am off work. PS found a nice hoodie jacket for less than $200 for a big cuddly guy (myself). Wots Den at Michinbury. It's kevlar lined.
