S T. hi mate . Want to get rid of the vw putt putt noise hey . A member we met on our first ride from the sunshine coast had the V & H Cruzers and from what i reckon of KIngy's with the longer version and Moe with the shorts for mine the Cruzers are tops. More mellow sound. ;D when the missus heard them she said thats what i waant on your bike. ;D ;D I went with a local and he does all muffler work . Took out the original baffles and did some interior designing and then put a larger outlet in . Went from 76 dec. to 96 .. So made a diff and people hear you coming but they aren't excessively noisy. The neighbours like them . Wanted the Cruzers but this cost 250 so the trade off wasn;t to bad. Most people think they are ok. The other thing is the pipes stil are original . Must admit though i wouldn't mind the same thing done but in the 2into 1 pipes like yours. Am looking out for some cheap to have a go. Can get you this blokes no. if you want. Though if you go to our November ride pics in the gallery i took a pic of his board that day. Cheers Ray Attachments:

G'day Spinaltap, I have the V&H cruizers on my bike & am happy with them. Nice note & not too loud, initially had a few issues with backfiring on deceleration but fixed this by openining up the pilot jets a bit. I also like the look of the V&H radius pipes, plenty to choose from these days. Happy hunting.

i would de baffle the OE ones first to see if you like that note.. still sounds way better then Stock and cheap... if your not happy with them then i would look at getting some vance and hines here in aus just in case.. my old man got his pipes from the USA they rocked up all bent and dented he had to send them back at his expence and the supplier sent a new set back.. total waiting time of 4 months to get this sorted out.. and seeing he had to pay for postage back the pipes cost around the 650 mark...
