Hello boys and girls, once again it's been a long time between visits. Seems I only come here when I need help and this is no exception. I just noticed the lens cover off my rear left indicator is missing. Looks like it's snapped of, whether through misadventure or just plain wear and tear I don't know. Anyway after looking for replacement covers on ebay I decided I didn't love what was on offer so I'm considering replacing the entire rear fittings. A search of the CruiserCustomizing web site led me to these ones which I really like. However it seems the mounting bolt is 5/16 or close to 8mm and I think my bike (06 Aero) takes a 10mm. Does anyone know whether it will fit on neatly (or indeed even if the Aero is in fact a 10mm mounting bolt) or will it be loose and unusable. I don't want to spend $150 importing the lights from the USA only to find I can't use them.

Hi clarry ... Nice to see ya I put kuryayan indicators on the 400 and they fit perfectly. They weren't exactly those lights but they were smaller so I reckon those ones should be ok as all they have to do is cover the holes.

Hi ya mate . I think i'd be taking the originals off to make sure . I had mine off once to put on a rack but cant remember the bolt sizing. Something is telling me no but Anna says she has put some simular ones on so i wont argue .Should not take long to rip the OEM off to check. Cheers Ray

Hi clarry, just word of advise, i bought the smoke lense covers that fit on the stock blinkers, they make them look very much like the one's you want to buy, but have put original covers back on after having a lot of people tell me that they can hardly see them flashing even from about 20 mtr away, more so when sun is shinning on them. i love the look but i would rather been seen, just thought i'd let you know.the bolt that holds them on is a 6mm from memory. link, these are the type i bought, www.kuryakyn.com/products/666/deep-dish-bezels cheers,

Thanks for the advice folks, I was planning on stripping off the old ones today to see if it would work. Spinal, the visibility is an issue, like you I don't want to make my intentions any less obvious. Also, I just read a review on the lights by an Aussie guy, who said they come with red glass and in Australia they have to be amber to be legal. He reckons he had a hell of a time changing them over. So maybe I should be looking at something else. Anyway, there's a lot of good looking lights out there with 8mm mounting bolts, so I'm still keen to see if they'll fit the Aero. These one interest me too 123
