Stock mirrors with a radius of 5.25cm have an area of 86.5cm. A= pii x r (squared). A=3.14 x (5.25 x 5.25)

The party was last weekend. it was good, all the kids behaved really well, no gatecrashers, fights or vomiting ;D We were up till 3am which is unusual for me, i usually dye a death by 1, but i think having the cocktails in a slushy machine probably did me the world of good in reducing the amount of alcohol i drank. No 1 son decided he wants to get mobile and will wait until his 17th in october and wants to get a bike . Then I can be a shadow rider in two senses. Oh joy

An 18th with no vomiting Sounds too good to be true. Better check behind the furniture, in the plant pots etc. Bound to be a couple tucked away somewhere.

Geez Angel, can't believe you got through an 18th birthday with no technicolor yawns.
I had a brilliant time on my 18th. I know because I was told so.

Well done Angel . Having a party for teenagers these days can be an almighty headache. One phone call from a smarty pants and the whole bloody town will be there. So glad all had a senseable time and enjoyed the party. . Oh and happy birthday to your daughter, they certainly grow up fast hey. Hi Scrap; Whats the go with the wiring on the mirrors . Do you wire straight into original indicators or go through a relay. Take much to wire in a GPS unit or is it fairly simple. One thing i can't handle much is damn wiring, have never been able to get me head around it much. Side marker led lights on truck bodies is about my limit. Once more than 2 wires are involved i'm stuffed mate. ;D Cheers Ray

Ray, Most probably wire it in through the relay, that way the indicators will have more equal voltage. Wiring it in at the indicator means more wiring = messy.
The GPS is easy. I'll take an active link off the ignition. Its a Kawasaki - so that'll be a grey / yellow wire.
Cheers, Scrap

Better you than me mate. So wiring through original indicator wires would that overload the circuit and cause burning of the wires or is it just the messy thingabop to worry about or the current draw. Just interested to know if down the track i do something similar. Cheers Ray

Job done. Found an accessory fuse in the Kawakas fuse box and hooked the active into that. The accessory wire is inside the ignition ie its not live when the ignition is turned off so no chance of getting a flat battery accidentally. Earthed straight to the battery to ensure there's no chance of a circuit break. Tracked the cable with the main cable line to the steering and then followed the accelerator cable to the handle bars tying off with small black cable ties. Job looks really neat.
Now just waiting for Angel to get back to me and I can install her flash mirrors! ;D

Well that seemed simple( NOT TO ME) . Alright i'll be over and get you to do my wiring mate ;D ;D. Thought Jayne was going to get them done same day. Lets know how it goes. The gps would that be much the same on our bikes to wire. Trish says i should put one on. Did you have a bracket mount on handlebars, sounds like it. Cheers Ray

Ray,
Shadows don't have an accessory fuse unfortunately. Checking the wiring diagram, I suggest tapping into the cooling fan line. Its 10 amps which is more than enough for the fan. If you connect to the Blue wire with a black line below your fuse box, you get a 12 volt feed inside the ignition. If you can't splice it into the fuse box, just use an electrical piggy back connection (like they use with trailer wiring). Earth of straight to the battery or any other local earth line.
