When I first bought my bike the dealer said never wash it, only use Mr Sheen. Spray and wipe. Well I've been using Mr Sheen and only Mr Sheen for 10 years and my bike is shiny and as new. He also told me to use soapy steel wool pads for cleaning chrome. I was a bit skeptical about that and didn't dare touch steel wool to chrome until I got some heavy duty rubber and tar burnt into my pipes, so I gave the steel wool a go. Amazing! No scratches and clean as a whistle shiny chrome. I recommend this to anyone.

I use this stuff: www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/cycle.htmlWhich was recommended to me by the only guys I now let touch my Betty (besides me, that is) at: www.sixtydegrees.com.au Kat and Luke also are amazing at teaching motorcycle maintenance courses, as well as amazing Roadcraft courses, and Roadside First Aide. The customer service is second to none, and they are not to far from where I live. I swear by Plexus as the single best product for making the shiny bits super shiny!
