This will also remove rubber or plastic burnt on to pipes. 1 Fill a small bowl or bucket with warm water. Wet a microfiber cloth in the water and place a nickel-sized dollop of liquid dish detergent on the cloth.
2 Rub the detergent all over the polished chrome. Let the detergent soak on any difficult dirt spots for a few minutes.
3 Rinse off the polished chrome with a clean, damp cloth. Make sure to get all the detergent residue off.
4 Pour some white vinegar directly onto a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Rub it over the entire surface of the chrome. Rinse with clean water.
5 Rub the polished chrome with a dry microfiber polishing cloth. This keeps water spots from forming and will make the chrome shine.
cheers, chris.

Thanks for the timely tip, Chris. Just returned from a road trip through the South West of WA and my bike now needs a good clean and polish. I'll try your chrome cleaning tip instead of using Autosol.

How 'old 'can this be using microfibre? Could be reasonably old if you change 'microfibre' for microwave, but then I was wondering how you rub a microwave (oven) over your chrome
