I'm in Tasmania on Holiday with the Handbrake (Sorry in the car, She wont ride) & cant believe how many bikes are over here. We must get a SRA trip organized

We must get a SRA trip organized Sounds like a good plan...the SRA tour of Tassie that is (might have to leave handbrakes at home). There is also a very strong possiblity that I might be relocating to Mildura sometime over the next few months. Nothing definite, yet...so let's try and get this Tassie thing done sooner, rather than later...

the couples name is Kim and Louise. They own and operate a Cabin and Camping ground on the West Coast of Tassie. had an Email from them cant find it but will keep looking Shit just realized my first post on this was lost WTF. the have a combined van park and cabin in Strahan on west coast

We must get a SRA trip organized Has been mooted but may have to get keener. Yes they seemed a nice couple and we had a good ride ,dinner and chat with them. Rode a Harley ,we,ll forgive them for that . ;D ;D ;D

The road here in Tas are great, They hate straight roads over here, I think they put curves in the straights ;D

Saw the spirit of Tasmania today.. did make me think how much it would cost to put the bike on it and cruise around tas for a few weeks

Saw the spirit of Tasmania today.. did make me think how much it would cost to put the bike on it and cruise around tas for a few weeks ATM the cheapest is about $420 return with your bike on a day sail more if you want a cabin

I think I know a few members who'd probably want that option [/quote] I went over on the night sail with a cabin, couldn't sleep, so walking around the ship @ 2am with everything closed not much fun. Came home on the day sail much better, no cabin needed as your awake anyway. Plenty to do or just do nothing. No the beds are single bunks and when sailing you cant go down to your bike
