moe just put stabilizers on the back, you can get those trike conversions for about $9,000 when you get too doddery to stay on 2 wheels.

Going back to the issue at hand. My thoughts on preceeding - or following- ulysses wer Broken hill sounds good as welle simply a matter of ease of organising. I agree that the ride will be boring as batshit if we go to the red centre, and to be honest it has never really appealed to me i think its over rated. I did suggest somewhere near mildura when the issue first came up a year ago as that looks close to central to me. However broken hill sounds good as well. Being central no one can say its too far ang get away with it. We dont need a comittee, the plan is to keep it more informal, I am sure some of us will do most of the work, but my personal experience with comitees is that they slow things down . I still think the timing should be in line with the ulysses AGM for those of us who may want to ride onto or from that event. So may would be good

Was going to suggest Devonport, but not in winter :oand summers out as the Qlders live on an island for 6 mths of the year, and can't go anywhere. I'll quite happily go with the flow for a long ride to any destination. Just a point, after the ulysses the place will probably be "biked out",so the previous week would seem to be a better option
