I love it that we're now seeing a lot of new technologies coming up to either generate energy from renewables or like this one about using garbage to make oil. The only downside with this machine is that it requires quite a bit of energy to melt the plastics (340C - 350C) so an alternative source of energy to run it would be good.
I've been doing some browsing myself this week on New Energy Technologies and came across this invention. It's a motor that runs on magnetic energy only. Can you imagine this sort of technology powering your home? No more power bills!

Why is this the first we're hearing of it? If it's genuine, surely there are way too many benefits for it not to be more widely used (and on a much grander scale).

WG,thats why I put it up for comments,it's in Japanese,so you would be best able to find out It seems genuine enough, and as far as I can tell the translation is accurate...but then, people are capable of creating an elaborate hoax in any language. Haven't seen it reported in any news, so can't help but wonder if this is real or not. For all intensive purposes, and a number of other sites which seem to purport this as possible (e.g. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermal_depolymerization or www.polymerenergy.com/ or others), it does seem real!

Well if you believe the conspiracy theorists, most of these inventions are taken by the oil and energy conglomerates as its seen as a threat to their profits.
