Just a quick query as I'm also a Jeep owner (not something one readily admits to) and there's an annual or every second year Jambourie for everyone to get together and talk things Jeep. Has any thought been given to an annual or every second year (biannual/biennial, I can never remember) get together for Shadow owners. Would people make the effort? Could people be bothered to organise it?
Just a though to throw out there.
Cheers ... Mark

Hey Mark, There is a thread somewhere here on the forum, probably amongst the state riding boards somewhere..... we the people, are trying to organize a meet up for a couple of years ahead. By starting the plans now, hopefully more people can arrange annual leave for it and make an effort. Some one will come along tomorrow and put a direct link to it here for you.....I went and found it.....hopefully I've set the link up properly below. G'day Steve - actually I love the Jeep but then again I must be a masochist - it's a '98 ZG Grand Cherokee - viscous couplers that give up the ghost by 150K, immobilisers that don't turn off if near a phone tower, diffs that cack themselves under 150K, electrics that need to be reset for no good reason - the list goes on. I bet the Wrangler is a sweet machine though.
Anyway - this is a Shadow forum - I suppose to maximise numbers the meeting needs to be in the eastern states and needs to coincide with some major event that hekps people justify a long trip. Food for thought.
Cheers ... Mark
