And this is exactly what makes cruisers such a versatile ride, you can change the bike look and feel just by replacing a few parts ... looks great.

Curious as to the cost of the rake kit...?

Kit was 2300 delivered when the dollar was sub parity. Could be cheaper now with the strong $. Be warned though, they only replace the front brake cable to accommodate longer forks, but given my 05 has welded risers, I had to change the bars, and now the clutch and throttle cables are too short.

Some new pictures. Romi is spending a fair bit of time on my bike. I asked him to replace the headlight housing to accommodate a clear lens and the HID globe kit I bought. He's managed to get the HID globe, hi-lo loom, starter and ballast all inside the new housing. It took him 3hrs but it looks pretty cool. The custom length braided rear brake and clutch cables are being made in Sydney and should arrive Monday or Tuesday. LoneWolf turned up and managed to snap a shot of me sitting on the bike. No doubt he'll post that later. Here's a few pics.

I picked up my bike this afternoon. Spent the first half hour or so adjusting everything to my liking (clutch & brake lever position, mirrors, handlebars etc). Then took it for a burn on the highway back to Melbourne. Runs well though I hesitated to give the new jet a good workout until I get my confidence up with the new feel of the bike. First impressions, its a totally different bike. The whole centre of gravity is shifted (or so it seems) so I need to learn how to corner all over again. Really Happy so far. Will post pics and such as soon as I get a chance.
