Has anyone else noticed we seem to be going down in member numbers, not up? I'm sure we were up to 226 members late last week, now it's down to 223??

So some may have sold their Shadows & moved on? So why is that a problem?

Nope, not a problem Mac... Like Nobby said, just an observation. After having my baby for 4 yrs I find it hard to believe anyone could sell theirs... unless they are selling to upgrade to a newer Shadow! Love mine sooo much! Totally a convert!!

Last month when I emailed the newsletter to all SRA members a few emailed back saying they were no longer shadow owners and requested to be removed from our membership list. I adjusted the counter on the home page accordingly to reflect the changes. This is likely to occur each month as it's the only direct contact we have with registered members. SRA does not terminate membership with any member even if they change their bike as they have been part of our family and will always be welcome to remain as members. I inform them they are still welcome as members but I remove them if they insist. Cheers, Rusty

Thing with membership is this. People not numbers will stay as long as they ate enjoying themselves and feel like they are part of the big picture. The most positive thing about this club/organization/group is that we are all approachable and I have yet to meet someone who isn't willing to share a few words. People will of course change bikes, but as long as you can make great friends I'm of the belief it doesn't matter what you ride. As we all love the wind on our face and the bugs between our teeth. So let's keep the rides coming, and ensure you say G'day to everyone you meet. And our numbers can only grow, or decrease when the old farts kick the bucket.. Lol
