firstly i must apologize for being absent recently.. was on holidays to Melbourne and back via car last week. and then upon my return to work on Monday this week i was made redundant.. so have been pre-occupied there. i also must apologize as i may be absent from the next few runs due to lack of funds rolling in, as i'd much rather the money went to put a roof over my family and some food in their bellies.
Hoping something is available soon, that will let me enjoy life like before, otherwise i might end up selling the bike too

Guys n gals.... As the QLD members know, I'm a christian.. and well I have some great news in regards to this post..
Instead of writing the whole thing again, i have copied my post from my churches website for you all to read. ;D
Hi there everyone, Just thought I would place a testimony in regards to my request for prayer from last week.
Well a week ago today (Monday 20th August) i returned to work after my holidays to be told my job had become redundant..
On Tuesday morning, i loaded up the computer and put the seek.com.au search into my web browser and started looking. I found a Job that had been uploaded merely 13mins before i turned it on, It was another external sales role (I have been a sales rep for the last 6 years) based in Richlands (my last role was in the city). I applied for this role.. and in less than an hour later, i had a phone call from the national manager this call lasted 40mins. the national manager then told me he would not be available to come to Brisbane until the 13th Sept.. but would contact the QLD manager and get him ton contact me. 15-20mins after i spoke to the national manager the state manager called. i then proceeded to talk to him for around 30mins. he then mentioned he had something come up and would need to call me back shortly, when he called back he apologised. and stated that he had to call the national manager to tell him he had to get up here to meet me, and asked if i was free for an interview on Friday 25th as he had made the national manager clear his calendar as he didnt think I would be on the market for long.. of course i said yes i was free..
Friday 24th, i had an interview with the National and QLD managers. this lasted for just over 2 hours, and never had a bad moment or awkward pause. and i came away feeling positive. less than 5 hours later the national manager called to inform me that provided me referees were ok they would like to offer me the job. after i forwarded them info from my resume (certificates and so forth)
Monday 27th, I received a phone call to inform me they'd officially like to offer me the role and my offer would be in my e-mail just after lunch. I received this and to my surprise it contained the following..
This job, will pay more than my old job. I will have a more senior role than i have ever had before. this job is 15 mins from home, compared to an hour. and everything about the job is an improvement upon anything i was looking for or have had before.
This has taught me that God has a plan for us, and when i was made redundant i was able to look for this role and he planned for this to happen exactly the way it did. If i was not made redundant, i wouldn't have hopped onto seek.com.au to look for a role and this great opportunity would never have been found by me. Although i originally was concerned and unsure and questioning everything, with faith and prayer the night before with my family on the Monday. God provided everything and more!
So now instead of being unemployed and looking for work, i am technically just on holidays until the 10th and am able to do the extra things around the house which I didnt have time for beforehand.
God is a great providing God, not only will he provide for us when needed. but will reward those who are working in his favor along the way who do not ask! I did not seek a pay rise nor a better job, at the time i was happy and content in the life we had begun to carve for ourselves here in Ipswich.
I'd like to thank everyone for their prayers, and I am looking forward to the new season ahead!
So basically, i will be able to attend rides as per normal... Woot!!!
