Hi Riders a little information and background on the Ride.
Please use the link below for any donations .
There will be a section to put who you are donating for. Could you please put Belinda Rimmington or Law Essentials team as the contributing name .This helps with credit towards the fundraising. Otherwise it won't get credited to our team. No big deal if it isn't, it's still being paid to the Cancer Council. Just good if we can have it put against our tally so we can meet our goal

Will be posting a bank acc no for those that dont have a credit card or dont wish to use it for a donation .

Relay For Life is an overnight, community event where teams of up to 15 people keep a baton moving in a relay-style walk over 18 hours to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

Every dollar raised through Relay For Life helps the Cancer Council to:
• Investigate new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancers. $12 million is invested in research each year.
• Educate people in your community about ways they can reduce their cancer risk.
• Advocate for cancer control.
• Support people during their times of greatest need through financial assistance and free accommodation near treatment facilities in Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Toowoomba and Brisbane.

The agent number and T/C thing are so it doesn’t get lost among Cancer Council deposits and goes to Relay for Life account and credited against our team’s fundraising.

Would need to be done via NAB branch I think as opposed to Internet banking it as you wouldn’t be able to get all those details into an internet banking transfer. I think that’s why they prefer credit card donations via the web site. I also think credit card would be easiest way for people to donate as they wouldn’t have to go into a branch.

They could also post a cheque made out to Relay for Life to our work address and we can bank it.
