Hey guys, I am riding a 2005 vt750c shadow, I love the ride n comfort of it but after riding it for a lil while now I am hungry for a bit more grunt. I have put a new set of cobra pipes on it already witch makes it sound mean but It's just lacking that lil extra in witch I desire. Was thinking of getting a dyno jet and a better air filter. Any suggestions on this would be appreciated, also any ideas on how to gain a few extra ponys our of her would be great. Thank guys

K & N filter and desnorkel the air box Dyno jet kit in the carby with the new pipes will make a difference I did all of the above to my 04 model and had fun for a while, but remember it is only a 750cc.

Value for money I'm not a fan of the hypercharger but that's just a personal thing, Dyno tune wont hurt and makes sure your getting the most out of it.

No need to be sorry, everyone here is here to help, well most of us Remove you air cleaner body, at the back there is a thick black snorkel which draws the air from up under you tank. You need to remove all of the snorkel which will just pull apart from the body, it will leave you with a bigger hole for more air to get into the air cleaner with a K&N filter will give you more power. It will also make it a little bit louder, If your not happy you can just replace the snorkel, but you will notice the difference with the K&N filter and this mod.

Ray, If you read all the info about hyperchargers the consensus is they are just a fancy aircleaner which do next to nothing to give any more power .If your lucky hypercharger combined with rejetting and aftermarket pipes may give you a couple of extra HP .The one they make for the 1100 is not even functional just something to get in the way of your leg.

Yep i think that iff you ar trying to get more power all the time the best way is to get a bigger bike ( akka Shane) . Must admit though the timing mod i did definately helped with the bike pulling better up hills . Bit different to makeing it go faster . Just more pulling power .
