Ant I cant wait either, I'm just waiting for the dates to be announced to put in for my holidays .. I'm not missing out!! ab - I'm glad you enjoyed the report ... definately need to come along to the next one, it was so much fun and the more the merrier!! Rodaco - thanks, yeah I like those shots too but have to admit I am planning to get a bar mount and stick it on my highway bar, I've seen some great shots with lots of road in the forground from down low on the bike and wanna try that. I cant remember where you put yours, is it on the bar or the side of the tank? WG - Next year for sure!! We got your message tho, thanks for that

Fantastic Anna, superb write up with great photos,
I'll post up some photos and video this weekend. I was going to try to get them done by now but I've simply been too busy with report wiring and getting lessons back into the swing with my classroom.
Fantastic stuff, and looking forward to 2014.... Oh, PS... the stock seat was back on my VT400 before I had even unloaded the saddle bags (literally). The saddle bags are fixed and no amount of persuasion could get them unlatched... thank god because I lost my SENA bluetooth controller when the saddle bags popped open and bugger me it's $170 to replace it..so expensive lesson learnt :-(

I think that's a great idea BG!! Sena is a bluetooth communication device that attaches to the side of you helmet. You can also connect it to your phone, navigator, ipod ect www.senabluetooth.com/

Annastasia, I had mine on the handle bar, but it did suffer from a bit of vibration, but if you're just taking still photo's it might be ok. I went for a ride yesterday with the camera mounted on the helmet and it certainly gives a different view. I found that I could see my arms and speedo and gps all in the field of view as well as showing all the road scenery. Interesting... David.

I crop those photos that are taken from the side of my helmet David and you can get some awsome shots (plus I dont want anyone looking at the evidence on my speedo ...).
I reckon that if there's vibration it will probably effect the still shots too, doesn't cost much to find out though.
