Because I ride to work during the day & home again at night I'm constantly changing my visor from dark to clear. The wear on the quick change button of my Shark helmet has finally caused the button to snap off so it was time to go shopping. So down to Sydney City Motorcycles to check out the new range. I ended up with this Shark Speed-R. What a great helmet. Looks smart IMO and it's so damn quiet. But best of all it has an internal retractable dark visor so no more changing visors twice a day. It's also pinlock ready and came with a pinlock insert so with winter on the way fogging won't be a problem.

Nice helmet Clarry. I have a shark too but it doesn't have the flip down tinted bit. Not that it bothers me, I just ride with the visor up on the way home from work, i'm lucky it's only a 5 minute ride. I do think that's a great feature tho. I figured mine was quiet too but only had an open face before so couldn't really compare.

$500 neat. Pretty reasonable compared to Shoei.
