Hi all I promised pics of my new passion, or the Mistress as the wife calls it. The bike is called Gonzo. I have only started making changes to suit me. So far I am liking it. Trying to keep it neat and tidy. Hope you enjoy the 1st of my pics as the bike conforms to my likes.

Nice mate. Good stuff. I will make one suggestion though. Get the old car out of the carport and make more room for the mistress.

Looks great BDR ;D Have to agree with BG .. bikes get the carport/garage .. car stays out in the cold ... Bikes get washed and polished after every ride (well nearly every) .. car hasn't had a wash in years (damn just remembered I need to put water in the washers)

The old car is my late father-in-laws. The wife and mother-in-law have discussed it, and its going soon. Thankfully wife's uncle has same car and this one will live on as spares.
Wife is OK if family use it, otherwise they were carting me off before the car went.
As for the bike. Thanks for the comments. It's soon to have a stable mate. Wife is going to join me on the road with her own shadow. So if you see 2 learners on shadows on the road, get out of the way and stay clear. 2 noobs coming through.

Thanks Ana
The lookout is above Wiseman's Ferry. Was a great day for a ride. I pointed the front wheel and I tagged along. The rack is a hondaline type and I got from "Chromeworld". Took a few weeks as there were some problems at 1st ( the 1st rack I ordered was discontinued) and it does come from the States too. Other than that it was smooth sailing. Chromeworld rep/ manager was real good, kept me upto date as to the order.
Cost me $129.00 plus shipping (local as Chromeworld is based near Gosford). Solo Luggage Rack for Honda VT750 2004-2009
Rack goes on easy. I have to make a small bracket to attach an after market reflector (I got some stick on ones from Bunnings)which will be attached soon as its a legal requirement. They are longer and narrower than the stock one and will sit nice under the end of the rack.

A nice place to end up. Thanks for the info on the rack, I looked at chromeworld and didn't see one there, guess if it's discontinuted that explains why it's so hard to get. I've found this one www.motorcycleadventure.com.au/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=101_136_429&product_id=2065 but it's a bit pricey .. not sure how I'll go now. Doesn't the standard reflector fit under the Hondaline rack? edit: OK cancel that last question, I just looked at your photos again .. it wouldn't fit eh. Hmm making me think more bout getting this one.

Look under Honda, 750c 04-09. It's on about the 4th page. If you see another one that is rounded in shape, ignore it as its discontinued. The stock reflector is too wide and short to still be there.
I saw that one you linked after I had ordered my one. That one looks as if stock reflector will be ok as it sits higher. Also mounts differently (to the seat/ frame bolts) rather than attaching where the original back seat did.
I went to bunnings and got a small zinc plated angle, type used on house frames to join beams. A little trim, a slight bending to get the angle right, a new hole drilled to suit mounting on bike and some black paint. BINGO one new reflector bracket. It's just the right width to bolt under the rack at the original reflector position. Once paint dries I will attach and post pics of what it looks like.
