Ok so I was down at my local pizza shop and talking to my mate Con (the pizza man). Now Con has been an avid Heritage owner for many years. I happened to be looking at some Harley pics on the pizza shop walls and mentioned that I like the look of the Honda Shadow. He started telling me about a long bike trip he and his mate who is a shadow owner did. A few hours in at a rest stop Con was saying he was sore and anyway they swapped bikes for what was supposed to be to the next fuel stop. When they got there Con didn't want his Heritage back. He liked the shadow so much he stayed on it the rest of the weekend and trip back. To his mates disgust. Haha. A very good advert for the mighty Honda Shadow if I ever heard one. Just thought I'd share this even though i am a krakadarki owner. :-)

Peter Stevens/ Harley Heaven are one of our biggest motor bike dealers in Melbourne. I have watched for the past 12 or so months, as the Ringwood (suburb in eastern side of Melbourne for our interstate friends) store built one of the biggest motor bike show rooms in Australia. Well today was their grand opening. I went and had a look. It is a two story building of bikes, bike parts, accessories, you name it they had it....except. I saw Harleys, I saw Suzuki's. I saw Triumphs and Victory's and Yamaha's. I saw recreational vehicles and I saw jet skis and Spyders, hell I even saw Vespas and other scooters. But what I didn't see was a Honda. Not one. Go figure. Oh and for Big G they had no Kwakas either!

Hmm Peter Stevens. I bought my second motorbike from them. A Yami IT175. Bit disappointing they don't have the Hondas in now though. Prob coz Honda (and kwakasaki) have better taste than to be thrown in with all the other bikes.
