Hey Louie, for once I appreciate where you're coming from. I'm sorry about the damage, but if that allows you to follow your dream, then it's a good thing. No matter where you go, or what you do, no matter who you annoy along the way, so long as you are annoying all of us in Bright in March 2014!!

the avatar on steroids, george.... they certainly look big on this new format/forums... as far as the selling of my cab is concerned... I have had a buyer lined up for nearly a month now, wasn't too sure what I was going to do as far as work or travel was concerned... that decision was made nearly 2 weeks ago, but due to events over here I decided to with hold that announcement until now.. as far as a blog is concerned... still not convinced about starting one at this stage... I will be posting regularly with pics & vids on my facebook site along with our shadow riders facebook site... am thinking about starting a thread in the general section called "fly travels" or something to that effect on our forums, but I'm not sure if that would be over stepping the mark depending on feedback comments I get... my plans for travel at this point ( could easily change depending on my mood ). Will be to head north ( am sick of this cold stuff ), prob straight for Broome ( 2300ks north of Perth ). Then work my way over the top into QLD ending in Vic around xmas ( I have some relly's there ). I hope to have my timing so as to be in the 2nd annual AGM in Bright, which will be my que to head north again ( just like the ducks ) after this event... then I will be playing the endless summer routing up & down the eastern states depending on the season... currently I am sifting thru' the house sitting sights to vary my accommodation between my trailer & housing whilst keeping my on road costs to a minimum louie

well now it's actually very real... my taxi left the carport today, to be housed in its new home... settlement was finalized this arvo ... so I guess that means "I really am with out a job"... exciting & nervous, yet strangely calm... the call of the open road is becoming a scream ( that means really loud )... can hardly wait louie.

not real sure Anna...was originally slated for the end of July/early August, but a few things have been thrown my way... firstly, I have been offered a job on the buses for transperth, I still have a few mates in the buses from when i used to drive them years ago. When they heard i was leaving the cabs the offer was made. I have until the end of July to decide... on top of that another mate, who is a cabby, is going over seas for 2 mths needs a house sitter for sept/oct and has asked me if I'm interested... so I've yet to decide, but either way my house shall be rented out around august ... just not sure if I will be hanging around here for a couple more months or not...
louie.
