So I was driving my boys back from Ipswich, sported a guy next to the road with sports bike opposite. He sort of waved so I pulled up. Poor bloke was out on his first ride with his new red 2010 Ducati 1000 and it had a faulty fuel light, out of juice. Drove him to some fuel and back and saw him on his way. I offered to donate a strap so he could keep his fuel can but he insisted I keep it in exchange for the help.
Just hopeful that someone would stop and help if I was in a jam I guess!

Well done Myo...Maybe he should have been on a Shadow? Or at least an old one like mine, love that reserve switch.

Good work myo. Picking Hayden up from after school care last night I had a random approach me in the carpark. He said he just had to stop because he has a soft spot for our older shadows. Also to tell me that he was thrilled to see a rider obviously enjoying the music being listened to while stopped at lights - I was bopping away to whatever song was playing. He took great pleasure in telling me that his wife, who was in the back seat of his car, had never seen this sort of behaviour before....maybe she only noticed due to her husband pointing out the bike. Some people never notice riders least of all when they have pulled over on the side of the road for various reasons. The least we can do is stop for a fellow rider, even if we are in our cage, just to say gday and check that all is well.

Nice story Myo. Yep I'll stop but sometimes round here ya have to be careful who you stop for .. I stopped on the highway not so long ago but not for a bike ... for a wheelchair .. two older ladies had a wheelchair on a special rack on the roof of their car that had let go ... I saw a heap of cars pass them before I stopped to help .. then no one else stopped to help after either. Was pretty funny me helping cause I could only just reach the roof rack thingy on tippy toes, We got it fixed tho
