Had to do a snake catchers course today. It was an eye opener. The red belly blacks not a prob real easy to handle. The brownie was a bit feisty and tried to have a go. Then I got to the horrible tiger snake boy is that thing a nasty piece of work. Had a play with a NT freshwater croc and a few pythons as well. But we were not allowed near the death adders or tiapans. Made it through unscathed but won,t be going out of my way to use my new found skills Will try and post pics after I get the ok from work. Cheers Dazza

Could have used you yesterday. Had a snake in an unused building at work. Stupid hero staff here caught it after I instructed to leave it be until qualified snake handler arrived.
There are now a couple of very sorry staff. management team fell on them like a tonne of bricks. Would have been less painfull if the snake bit them. BTW it was a black snake.

Lol yeah the blackies are not too bad we were told leave a door open while waiting for the catcher and they will leave nine times out of ten lol. Don,t know how true that is.

Mate I nearly shat myself when it came to catching the tiger snake as 7 other guys had a go before me and he was pissed right off. I guess getting shaken around and dumped in a bucket 7 times I would be a bit pissed off as well lol.
