linkMotorcycle Club Members have been singled out - and it stinks!! Three members of a Motorcycle Club found guilty of an offence enables that Club to be declared a Criminal organisation. But it doesn't apply to Churches or other well known hotbeds of pedophilia for example?? It applies to Viet Vets MC but not the RSL?? Why not? Or if 3 Police officers conspire to pervert the course of justice should it apply th the Police Force? NSW Labor Party might want to consider their organisations position too in light of past icon Eddie Obeid and Friends - As might the NSW Government as Obeid was a Government Minister at the time of the alleged offences. LETS GET REAL HERE!!! No group should have laws OR PENALTIES apply to it which do not apply to the wider community. No affected group should tolerate it and no unaffected community should support it. PROTEST TO Ban the Anti People Law....

We rode into Sydney, barely keeping ahead of the rain, we decided to take the ANZAC bridge into the City and although it took us a couple of laps we finally found where we where supposed to be and I had strict instructions to "STAY CLOSE", however the `previously stopped and letting out a passenger, TAXI` decided that he had right of way. Legally I guess he did, when he decided to move of without indicating his intentions. Needless to say Barry & I got spooked and I found ourselves lying on the pavement parked horizontally pointing in the opposite direction. I had little recollection of how I ended up there but by all accounts from the other riders that stopped to help, I did a mono and flipped it. Apparently I looked like I was going to try taking on the wall face. By the time Cas realised, did a U-ee I was up on my feet, Barry was upright and we where ready to go again. After a lot of YELLING from Casper (I had to explain to the others his lack of hearing) after a quick check over, both Barry & I pulled up relatively unscathed, the TREE was still standing. Yes I missed a TREE as well as a building, we mounted up again and eased our way into a safe parking spot. A bit of breeky from the Occupy Sydney Group with funds raised going to help the less fortunate. We were asked to bring our bikes directly into Macquarie Street. I took the same path this time but without the interference of another TAXI, it was all GOOD. By the time I hung my helmet and joined the crowd, it seemed my story had got around. Most comments where that of concern. The Rally its self was well supported by 1%ers, Social Clubs, Groups & single riders alike. Plus the families, pedestrians, car drivers etc. Everyone spoke well and made some very valid points. It was a shame to see the police had decided to pull up the Rebels on their way out of the City, but that was over before it really got started. This is just the beginning - either the beginning of a rebellion or the erosion of your civil rights. We where there, where were you? Respect Your Elders

You know Wendy, you could be right. These archaic laws are a poor excuse for the authorities failures in solving crime. They need to be seen doing something by the community, so with total ignorance narrow mindedness and fear, are going to lable all bikers as criminal. I'm not concerned about being pulled over for a road and licence check. I'm concerned that my choice of riding or not riding depends on how many people I ride with. Lable someone enough times and they become what they think. Good stuff going in good stuff coming out. Bad stuff going in, bad stuff coming out. Lable enough people criminals and you will get a rebellion. For the last, god knows how many years this country has gone down the bullshit road of political correctness. You can't say this and you can't say that. Well, if this is not discrimination at it worst I don't know what is. This is possibly the tact the bikers legal team should take. If they were an ethnic group they would probably win. That's all I've got to say for now, apart from. Les Miserable!!!

Its not that there after the criminals I have a problem with, its the fact that the QLD government is attacking our rights just because we ride a motorbike. The fact you can be stopped and searched just for riding a bike, or if you and some mates want to go for a ride you have to report to plod is bull. The Victorian Premier has said they will not be changing the laws but as we all know you cant trust pollies. Long live the right to ride where ever with who ever and when ever !
