This is for all us shadow owners who want/need whitewalls on their rides jakewilson.com are very good on pricing and delivery. I recently changed out both tyres on my aero price for the tyres and delivery which arrived at my doorstep within the week, was $375.00 ($75.00 delivery) for Dunlop d404 and Dunlop k555. Considering I was quoted $250 a tyre +fitting I think that's mighty fine service indeed.

Mate tyres are on and getting rotated dunlops are the fact spec tyre for aeros, I think you can go with shinko,s and metzlers but from what I,ve found on the forums shinko,s are you get what you pay for and the metz, ies ride to hard but the dunlops are just right. I got 15 thou out of the last set, so I think they wear pretty good an besides the dunlops have the better shade of white on the sidewall.

Mines a 98 aero 1100 single pin, any aero,s made after 2000 are dual pin the single pin is the model that caused the h.d company to try and patent "their" noise it also has reportedly more vibrations and the later dual pin was smoother.

I just have to wait til I need them now .. might have to do a bit more riding to wear them down faster

It's cheaper if you take you rims in ( already removed from your bike ) in most places.
