Ouch normally if you take just the wheels in its much cheaper $20-30 buckaroos, but if that was the cost of just the wheel swap then OUCH.

Just bought a vt750 2003 and need new tyres. How wide can you got on the back any one know. Don't know too much about these bikes a I have have had Guzzies &BMWs till now. Wanted something I could "Bobber". Plus sick of Euro parts & there prices

I have an '04 750 Shadow and on the back I run a 170/80 B15 Michelin on a standard rim for the '04 and I don't think you can go much wider without some serious modifications. I believe the '04 was the start of a new series so my information might not help.

"The fat arse kit for a vt750 runs at 3k U.S for a complete kit but you need a chain drive vt750 to do it there was a post I saw about modding a vtx rear rim onto a 750 rear hub allowing you to run a 200 tyre on a shafty, this mod I am thinking about if I can get a 750 cheap, just gotta convince the war department is all."
